I used to sell yellow page advertising to local small business owners. One of the biggest mistakes I saw them make repeatedly was not targeting their marketing toward their ideal prospect. In some cases, they understood marketing, but didn’t have the time to execute a marketing strategy.
“What is a marketing?” is a commonly asked question. Here’s a simple answer that you can take action on immediately in order to increase your sales. Marketing is what you do to get interested people in front of you. Sales is what you do when you have a prospect on the phone, or standing in front of you. Several years ago, I used to be really confused between the two terms until a leading marketing consultant offered that simple distinction.
Which leads me to the second priority of crafting the right message for the ideal prospect. Once you’re clear on who you want to communicate with,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you have to understand the conversation that’s going on inside their head. Your message needs to resonate with that inner conversation. This is about selling from a place of empathy.
Last is the issue of media. Only after you’re clear on who your market is and what their buying motives are, can you craft a compelling message. South Africa has launched Africa's first high-speed train in time for the football World Cup. The railway links the city's international airport to its financial district,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

Inside the box is where it's most comfortable, and soothing. It's where you have found yourself hiding so that no one can hurt you. No one can blame you for anything or tell you that it was a stupid idea. It's where all you have ever known is not only correct, but unaffected by any chances of it being wrong. If I were to compare it to a single idea I would compare it to the idea that the world was flat. If the world is flat there is no reason to leave the comfort of your house, and your acceptable income. There's no reason to risk life and death at the mercy of an unpredictable ocean. Instead, you can take confidence in the knowledge that there is nothing else out there that can offer you anything better.
To achieve the kind of financial freedom you deserve you must first open your mind to idea that you have been doing wrong all along. You must accept the possibility that the way you have operated your business, and your life might be taking you down a path that leads to failure not success. I do not mean to be abrasive or insulting to anyone out there, but rather show you what I once had to accept for myself also. If a person can see that their path can go a different way than there are even closer to achieving their goals than when they first began.

You’d be better off spending your time going to real face-to-face networking events and business meetings.

The Sixth International Conference on North Korean Human Rights and Refugees came to a close in Seoul on Wednesday. The annual conference has greatly helped international human rights activists and organizations focus on Pyongyang's human rights problem. If the country��s egregious human rights abuses are to be throttled back even by a fraction, the regime must be made aware that the outside world is watching,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and is watching closely.
Instead,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a couple of organizations calling themselves the "Unification Coalition for the June 15 Inter-Korean Joint Declaration and Peace on the Korean Peninsula" and the "Anti-Chosun Ilbo Citizens' Coalition" are staging demonstrations in front of this newspaper��s offices to denounce the conference.
They are upset that the Chosun Ilbo is sponsoring the event, asserting this paper "has the political objective of spreading anti-Pyongyang propaganda at home and abroad under the cloak of concern for human rights in the North." They also demand that the Chosun Ilbo "suspend acts threatening peace on the Korean peninsula while hiding behind human rights rhetoric."

But on human rights abuses in North Korea they not only keep mum but attack efforts to improve human rights there as "acts threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula."
